Practice management for modern dental clinics

Run the whole clinic, from first call to final payment.

Book the chair, chart the tooth, present the plan and take the payment in one system — then see which treatments, doctors and chairs actually carry the practice.

No card required · Import your patient list on day one

How it works

Go from first appointmentto a useful answer.

Start with the schedule, add the clinical record as you work, and the reporting builds itself out of what the clinic already did.

Set up

Bring the clinic online

Add your chairs, doctors and opening hours, import the patient list, and the schedule is ready the same day. No consultant, no on-site install.

Run the day

Capture every visit

Check-in, chair time, charting and payment are recorded as the visit happens — so the record is finished when the patient leaves, not at the end of the week.

Understand

Turn visits into answers

Production per chair, case acceptance per doctor, recall rate per channel. The numbers come from the work itself, so nobody has to maintain them.

Product features

The whole clinic stays together.Nothing here is an add-on.

Move from the chair to the chart to the invoice without losing the context that connects them — or paying for three products that each hold a third of it.

Live schedule

See the day as it happens

Watch every chair in one view — who has arrived, who is seated, who is running late — without walking to the front desk to ask.

Patients

Know every patient

Every visit, chart, radiograph, plan and payment for a patient sits on one page, in the order it happened.

Treatment plans

Find where cases stall

Present a plan, track what the patient accepted, and see exactly which stage cases stop at.

Recalls

Bring patients back

Six-month checks, unfinished stages and lapsed patients surface on their own, with the reminder already drafted.

Clinical charting

Chart teeth, not paperwork

A real odontogram in FDI notation, with per-surface findings, perio charting and endo stages recorded as you work.

Billing

Connect treatment and payment

Invoices are built from what was charted. UPI, card, cash and insurance claims land against the treatment that earned them.

01 / 02

Follow the visit a patient actually had.

Read the stages of a visit in order — arrival, chair, what was charted, what was agreed — so the route from the first call to the final note stays intact.

Visits stay in order, from the first call to the final note.

02 / 02

See the treatment behind the payment.

Every payment carries the case it settles, so revenue runs back to the treatment, the chair and the doctor that produced it rather than landing in one undifferentiated total.

See which treatment the money came from.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

How long does it take to move a running clinic across?

Most single-location clinics are seeing live appointments within a week. Patient records, treatment history and outstanding balances are imported from a spreadsheet export or a direct database dump; the schedule is rebuilt from your existing chair and doctor setup. You keep your old system read-only for a month as a fallback.

Does Dently work offline?

Charting and the schedule keep working through a dropped connection and sync when it returns, which covers the usual case of a clinic on a patchy line. Billing and reminders need the connection, because both touch systems outside the clinic.

How offline mode works
Where is patient data stored?

In an encrypted database in an Indian region, encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is per-user and role-based, every read of a patient record is logged, and the log is queryable by the practice owner. We do not sell, share or train on clinic data.

Can more than one clinic run on the same account?

Yes. Add each location as its own clinic under one organisation, with its own chairs, doctors and schedule. Staff can be given access to one location or several, and reports can be read per location or consolidated.

Compare plans
Which notation does the charting use?

FDI two-digit notation by default, with Universal and Palmer available per clinic. Findings are recorded per surface, perio charting is six-point, and endodontic cases carry their stages.

Charting reference
How do payments and insurance claims work?

Invoices are generated from what was charted, so the bill and the clinical record cannot drift apart. UPI, card and cash are recorded against the case, including split and partial payments. Insurance claims are tracked through submitted, queried and settled, and anything unsettled ages on the outstanding report.
