Clinical charting
Odontogram notation, per-surface findings, perio charting and endodontic stages.

Charting uses FDI two-digit notation by default. Universal and Palmer are available and are set per clinic, not per user, so a chart never means two different things to two people reading it.
Findings are recorded per surface — mesial, distal, buccal, lingual, occlusal — rather than per tooth, which is what lets a restoration on one surface and caries on another coexist on the same tooth without ambiguity.
Perio charting is six-point with bleeding and recession. Endodontic cases carry their stages, so an RCT started by one doctor and finished by another reads correctly to both.
