Scheduling and the chair view
Chairs as columns, statuses the whole team reads, and what happens when the day slips.

The chair view is the default screen. Each chair is a column, each appointment a block, and the colour is the status: booked, arrived, in chair, completed, no-show. Changing a status is one click and everyone sees it immediately.
Dragging an appointment reschedules it and notifies the patient on the channel they were booked through. Dragging it to a different chair does not notify anyone, because the patient does not care which chair they sit in.
Overruns are shown rather than hidden. When a block runs past its slot the following appointments shift visually, so the front desk can see a delay building instead of discovering it from a waiting room.
