Recalls and reminders
How due dates are derived, which channels are used, and how rebooking is measured.
Placeholder documentation. Accurate about intent, not yet a reference.
Recall due dates come from the clinical record — a six-month check, an unfinished plan stage, a review after a specific treatment — rather than from a separate diary. A patient whose treatment changes has their recall date change with it.
Reminders go out over WhatsApp, SMS or email on the schedule you set, with the clinic's own wording. A patient who has already rebooked is removed from the queue automatically.
Rebooking rate is reported per channel. This is the number that tells you whether a paid messaging channel is earning its cost, and it is the reason the channel is recorded against each reminder.
